Shortly after the Second World War, there was a shortage of rolling paper and importing this rolling paper was not allowed. Frank Mignot got the idea to use biblical paper and launched rolling paper under the name “Mascotte”. This resulted in the first fine, wafer-thin paper. Mascotte is now the market leader in the Netherlands in the field of regular rolling paper, filter sleeves and rolling devices. In the meantime, Mascotte also produces Lang rolling paper.
