How do you fill a Zippo?

1. For optimal performance: buy genuine Zippo fluid!
2. Open the lid of your Zippo
3. Remove the inside by holding the wheel firmly with two fingers and pulling on the metal
4. Place the Zippo housing in a safe place for a moment
5. Turn the inside upside down so you see the felt bottom
6. Carefully lift the felt protective layer (for example with a paperclip or screwdriver) so that the cotton underneath becomes visible
7. Squeeze some Zippo petrol into the loose cotton
8. Wait about five seconds and pour some more Zippo liquid into the cotton
9. Repeat step eight until the cotton is completely saturated
10. Close the felt protective layer again
11. Put the inside back into the housing
12. Let the Zippo sit for a few minutes to allow the liquid to be absorbed properly
13. Your Zippo is now ready to use again!
